I never stopped playing with my food, I just got better at it.
Amber Fisher is a professional chef, food stylist, recipe developer, published food writer, and kitchen consultant whose work is rooted in one simple idea - if it involves food, she’s all in.
She trained at The New School of Cooking in Los Angeles, graduating at the top of her class before stepping into some of the city’s most respected kitchens, including Roberta’s, Gjelina, and Gjusta. From there, Amber expanded her craft beyond the line, working as a private chef for high-profile and celebrity clients, while also building a strong foundation in food styling under renowned commercial stylist Maelle De Schutter.
Her experience extends into brand and media work as well. She helped create digital-first food content for major brands like Amy’s Foods, Bush’s Beans, and Tapatío, blending culinary skill with an eye for visual storytelling and marketing.
After returning to St. Louis, Amber continued to evolve her voice as a writer and creator. She has contributed to Feast and Sauce Magazine with feature stories, original recipes, and a recurring column.
Today, Amber brings all of these experiences together in her work - combining culinary expertise, creative direction, and strategic insight to help clients tell compelling stories through food, whether in the kitchen, on set, or in print.
